3 Month Treatment Results: BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy for Kids with ADHD

If you are wondering if BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy for kids with ADHD really works and can help your child this article is for you. We have been able to help our patients, including my own son, improve their concentration and focus without prescription drugs.
Back in June of this past year, I wrote a blog post, Summer Recess: The Perfect Time to Start BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy for Children with ADHD, about the value of BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy and how it can help children with ADHD and learning disabilities. After posting, I received several inquiries which eventually turned into several new patients, one of whom is my own son. This post is to share with you an update on some of these patients and how Braincore Neurofeedback Therapy has helped them.
Matty: Fifth Grader
First up is Matty, a classmate and soccer teammate of my son. He initially started his neurofeedback program over the summer. His mom was looking to get him off of the medication that he was prescribed after having been diagnosed with ADHD.
When Matty received his first report card after his Braincore NeuroFeedback Therapy sessions this is what his mom had to say: his grades were better than ever! She reported improvements in the following areas: focus, spelling, reading and neatness/organization, or as his mom puts it, “there is no longer a tornado following him”.
Matty’s mom sent me a video over the summer of Matty putting together a 200 piece puzzle while on vacation with a dozen or so relatives in the background. He was able to avoid being distracted and completed it! His father and I both notice a difference in him while playing on the soccer pitch. He was more focused and his drive and intensity were so much better. Matty was totally into the game like never before!
Teen girl: Highschool
A teen I recently started is now halfway through her Braincore Neurofeedback Therapy program. The daughter had her mom text me the other day to share she received a 90 in Biology which was the class she had the hardest time with. Her mom also reported that her report card was filled with A’s!
Mom shared with me that her daughter who at times could be very shy was beginning to be a lot more outgoing and social and the problems she was experiencing sleeping were better as well.
Devin: My son
Here is an update on my son. As you can imagine this is very personal and I am sharing this as not only as a doctor but as a father.
For the last few years, the words “parent/teacher conference” have been received with feelings of dread by my wife and me. We usually hear from the teachers how our son Devin is distracted, disorganized and spends time daydreaming. Now that he is in the fifth grade he has four different teachers we would be meeting with. Feelings of dread multiplied four times.
The first teacher we met with surprised us when she said she saw a difference in Devin the past 6 weeks, this coincides with week’s 5-10 of his Braincore Neurofeedback Therapy treatments. She reported Devin was more focused, organized and participating in class. We were pleasantly surprised and gave each other a bewildered look.
Onto the meeting with Devin’s second teacher who reiterated what we heard from the first. And again when meeting with his third teacher. By the time we heard the same report from his fourth teacher, we were both holding back tears. This was not what we were expecting. I was blown away. My wife even gave me some kudos on social media!
Helping these kids has been a pleasure and very fulfilling. To see the changes that are being made brings a smile to my face. I could never have imagined how I felt when I heard how well my son was doing in school. It was overwhelming. As a doctor, I have helped many people over the years in my practice which has always brought me great satisfaction, but to help my own son was a whole different level!
